Delete your KambaChat account
You can delete your account at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.
How to delete
📱 In the KambaChat mobile app
- Open the KambaChat app and sign in
- Go to Settings → Account
- Tap "Delete account"
- Confirm by typing
APAGAR - Enter your current password and confirm
🌐 On the website
- Go to market.kambachat.com
- Sign in → profile icon → "Account & Security"
- Tap "Delete my account"
- Read the 2-step warning, confirm, enter your password
✉️ By email (alternative)
If you can't sign in, send an email from your registered address to support@kambachat.com with the subject "Delete account". We reply within 5 business days.
Grace period (30 days)
When you delete your account, it is marked for deletion but kept for 30 days. During this period:
- You can't sign in (the account shows as blocked)
- Your data remains stored but inaccessible to other users
- If you change your mind, signing in with the same password automatically reactivates the account
- After 30 days, your data is permanently anonymized (irreversible)
What gets deleted
- Email, name, password, phone number, profile photo, bio
- Push notification tokens and preferences
- Saved addresses
- Private messages in conversations (anonymized)
- Comments, likes, follows, reports (anonymized — public content remains but without any link to your name)
- Pending password-reset tokens
What is retained (tax compliance)
Under Angolan law (AGT tax authority) and financial audit principles, we are required to keep:
- Paid orders and their receipts (personal data redacted to "[Deleted account]")
- Course certificates issued before deletion
- Processed affiliate transactions (personal data anonymized)
- Payment logs and gateway webhooks (anonymized)
This data cannot identify you — we only keep amounts and dates for accounting purposes.

You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data (GDPR / LGPD). To exercise any of these rights, contact support@kambachat.com.
